TransVigo is a workforce app used by drivers and operations staff of a fleet business to manage trips, log expenses, raise maintenance tickets, and receive work notifications. Accounts are created by the fleet operator; the app is not offered to the general public. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
Account information
Your name, email address and/or phone number, and your assigned role. These are created and managed by your employer (the fleet operator).
Operational data you enter
Trips, fuel and toll entries, maintenance tickets, job cards, and related notes that you record while doing your work.
Photos
Receipt, odometer, and ticket photos that you choose to capture or upload. They are used only to document the related record.
Location
Approximate and precise location, collected only while you are using the app, to auto-fill the location on incident and ticket reports. We do not track your location in the background.
Push notification token
A device identifier issued by the operating system's push service, used solely to deliver work-related notifications to your device.
How we use information
We use the data only to operate the app's features: assigning and tracking trips, recording expenses and maintenance, sending work-related notifications, and providing the fleet operator with operational reporting. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Data is shared only with:
- your employing fleet operator, who manages your account; and
- the service providers that host the app's backend — database, file storage, and push-notification delivery — acting on our instructions.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
Data retention
Operational records are retained for as long as your employer maintains its TransVigo account, then deleted or anonymised in line with their instructions.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Sign-in credentials are stored encrypted on your device using the platform's secure storage.
Your choices and rights
- Camera, location, and notification permissions can be revoked at any time in your device settings; the related features will simply be disabled.
- To access, correct, or delete your account data, contact your fleet operator or us at the address below.
Children
TransVigo is an employee/workforce app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version; material changes will be communicated through the app or your fleet operator.
